We are born with a desire and enthusiasm to rise up, to meet each day's challenge. This desire is gently nurtured by an ever-present still small voice encouraging us to approach each moment with baby-step vigor, finding self-satisfaction and joy with each accomplishment-innately aware of a certain ebb and flow balance to life-as we begin to make our way through the stages of childhood. At some point in our development, the noise of the world becomes louder than this still small voice and we may begin to question our ability and even our self-worth. In time, we may allow new ideas and concepts to replace those we once embraced that gave us courage to try and filled us with the satisfaction of purpose and achievement. Yet somewhere in a distant memory, when our mind is still, we hear a faint echoing, something familiar, something encouraging and nostalgic and we remember. Joy, happiness, love and peace are cultivated when we remove ourselves from the noise of the world and reconnect with our ever-present companion, the still small voice, the source of all that is good, virtuous and lovely. To maintain that connection, we discover how to elevate our thoughts and our level of consciousness to tune into a frequency that is different from the noise of the world. As adults, this is the place where we become childlike again, reconnecting with that desire to rise up and to meet each challenge. This is the place where we are nurtured by the still-small voice that we knew and trusted from the moment we took our first breath. This is the place where we are reminded that the answer is always love and thereby we can discern if we are asking the right questions so that we can choose actions and behaviors that will maintain inner peace and harmony. This is the place where we learn to be in the world but not of the world. This is the place we learn the art of unconditional love
